He specializes in International Order and Human Rights having obtained a Phd degree on this subject from "Sapienza", University of Rome.

Orientalist and historian of religions. Was a student and collaborator of Fosco Maraini, University of Florence, where for some years he taught Japanese language and literature. Works from 1989 with the superior Institute of religious sciences in Florence, where he taught phenomenology of religion and, now, history of Eastern religions.

He graduated in philosophy of law with prof. Bobbio, with a thesis on the origins of juridical thought.
Exercises the profession of civil lawyer at the bar of Turin. Directs the legal sector of the law firm DMZ (www.studiodmz.it).

He collaborated until 1977 with the International Journal of philosophy of law and published together with prof. Carchia on the specialized magazine "La Questione Penale".

Sonia Bartol Sánchez

Sonia Bartol Sánchez is Associate Professor at the Universidad Internacional de la Rioja (Spain) and is teaching in the Master de Antropología de Iberoamérica MAI at the University of Salamanca.

PhD in Iberoamerican Social Anthropology (University of Salamanca), doctoral thesis on three different Afro-Brazilian religions (Candomble, Umbanda, Catimbó-Jurema) in Recife, Brazil. Previously she gained undergraduate degrees in Social Anthropology from the University of Sussex and Sociology from the University of Salamanca.

She graduated in law at Cagliari University (Sardinia, Italy). She practised in a law firm in Cagliari. Forthermore she worked in the PR field and with Poste Italiane (Italian Postal Service). She lives in Florence.
