2.The Guardian view on religious intolerance. 
In much of the world, Christians are oppressed. Christian persecution is most pronounced in Islamic countries. Of course, Muslims in Europe or North America confront intolerance too.

6. Uzbek state media pursue a campaign against religious communities and believers, such as Protestants and Jehovah's Witnesses. One of their accusations is that the latter "turn children into zombies". Victims of slander have no chance to reply. In one case, defamatory articles led to four Christians losing their job.

10. Yezidi persecution in Iraq.
 Tens of thousands of Yezidis trapped in the Sinjar Mountains in northern Iraq after they were driven from their homes by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

12. Religious freedom victory at Council of Europe: a long-planned move to curb the activities of "sects" was unexpectedly knocked off course.
The initiative's prime mover was a French politician, Rudy Salles.
To critics, this seemed like a move to extend the policy of Francea cross the whole of Europe.
